Steve McLellan, CEO, Saskatchewan Chamber of Commerce


Mr. Steve McLellan is the CEO of the Saskatchewan Chamber of Commerce, a position he has held since 2007. Mr. McLellan has held several senior positions in the Saskatchewan business community including 26 years in tourism and hospitality.  He has served on dozens of local, provincial and national Board of Directors and was elected as Chair on many of them including his current role as the Chair of the RCMP Heritage Centre in Regina. 
                
Mr. McLellan is a recipient of the several medals including the Senate of Canada medal, Saskatchewan Centennial Medal and the Queen’s Jubilee Medal. Steve has been named by Sask Business magazine as one of Saskatchewan’s ‘Men of Influence’. 
 
He is a proud graduate of Saskatchewan Polytechnic and received their Alumni Partnership Award in 2015. In 2017 Steve was honored to be a recipient of the Tourism Saskatchewan “Builder Award”. 
Steve is active with the Paul J. Hill School of Business ‘Leaders Council’ and finds being engaged with a business school and its students very enjoyable. 
 
Nick Crighton, Director of Indigenous Engagement, Saskatchewan Chamber of Commerce
Nick Crighton is currently the Director of Indigenous Engagement for the Saskatchewan Chamber of Commerce in Regina, SK. He is passionate about preserving Indigenous languages and culture and believes that education and sharing Indigenous history in our schools, businesses, and homes is imperative to bridging the gap between Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities so we can all connect, prosper and heal together. Additionally, Nick understands the benefits and the importance of including Indigenous People in the economy, workforce and education sectors to ensure success for everyone in our province and nation. As an advocate for Indigenous people, he also believes that it is essential to include Indigenous People in the development of strategies, programming and implementation of policy that will assist in the continued growth and development in our communities.
