Best practice ideas and key governance topics like corporate culture and tone at the top are also discussed.

Board members, managers, and auditors in all types of organizations.

LEARNING OUTCOMES:
Participants will develop a stronger understanding of:

  • the relationship between good governance practices and organizational performance,
  • signs of governance problems in corporate, not-for-profit, and public sector organizations,
  • governance best practice ideas, including board-level, management-level and staff/operational-levels of an organization,
  • ‘Governance as Leadership’ model, including the fiduciary, strategic and generative responsibilities of an organization’s leadership team, and
  • leadership, culture, and tone at the top.
