A half day hands-on workshop aimed at those who have little experience with social media and who would like an understanding of what social media is, the growing role of social media in the business world and how to build a social media presence.

OBJECTIVE: 
A half day hands-on workshop aimed at those who have little experience with social media and who would like an understanding of what social media is, the growing role of social media in the business world and how to build a social media presence.  

WHO WILL BENEFIT: 
Anyone interested in the role that social media can play in business and those responsible for establishing a social media presence.  This session is intended for those with limited experience with social media but are tasked with some social media responsibilities.

LEARNING OUTCOMES:

Participants will develop their understanding of:

  • what social media is and its role from a business perspective.
  • the time commitment required to maintain a social media presence and
  • Building a social media presence on four key platforms: LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
